Recent times are going very well for Vidhu Vinod Chopra as his son Agni Chopra played a brilliant inning of 166 runs in 179 balls in his debut innings against Sikkim while playing for Mizoram during the Ranji Trophy 2024 match.

Agni Chopra is the son of Vidhu Vinod Chopra and film critic Anupama Chopra. Agni Chopra is playing for Mizoram in Ranji Trophy. Agni Chopra batted very well not only in the first innings but also in the second innings and scored 92 runs in 74 balls.

In this match, Sikkim declared its first innings at 442 runs for 9 wickets. After this, Mizoram scored 274 runs after losing all the wickets in its first innings. For Mizoram, Agni Chopra scored more than 75% of the runs for the team.

Sikkim achieved the target against Mizoram by losing 6 wickets. For Sikkim, Ashish Thapa scored 60 runs in the second innings while Sumit Singh played an important inning of 76 runs in 74 balls with the help of 8 fours and two sixes. Even though Mizoram could not win this match, Agni Chopra’s batting won the hearts of many people. Agni Chopra would like to bat like this in the upcoming Ranji Trophy matches also.
