Cricket Australia recently announced the Best Playing XI for the entire 2023, featuring stellar performances in red-ball cricket. Pat Cummins, who led Australia to the World Test Championship in June, has been named as the captain of the Test XI. Ireland’s wicketkeeper-batsman Lorcan Tucker got a place as wicketkeeper in 2023 for his excellent performance. Talking about the batting unit, Australia’s legendary batsmen Usman Khawaja and Dimuth Karunaratne have got a place in this team as openers.
