Indian cricket team’s star fast bowler Mohammed Shami has been honored with the country’s second highest award, the Arjuna Award, on 9 January 2024. President Draupadi Murmu honored him.

On this occasion, Shami’s mother also reached Rashtrapati Bhavan. All the fellow players also congratulated and wished the fast bowler. Apart from this, former cricketers also congratulated Mohammed Shami through social media.

Meanwhile, after receiving the award, Mohammed Shami posted a video on social media and wrote that he is very proud to receive the award. He also thanked his BCCI, family, coaches, and friends.

BCCI has announced the official sponsors for the matches to be held in India. Reliance company’s soft drink company Campa and home electronic appliances manufacturing company Atomberg Technologies will be the new sponsors of Team India.
