Talking about the second T20, New Zealand, batting first, scored 194 runs losing eight wickets in 20 overs. On behalf of the team, Finn Allen scored a valuable 74 runs in 41 balls with the help of seven fours and 5 sixes, while Kane Williamson made an important contribution of 26 runs. Mitchell Santner played an aggressive inning of 25 runs in 13 balls with the help of 3 fours and 2 sixes.

Chasing the target, Pakistan was all out for 173 runs in 19.3 overs. Apart from Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam scored 66 runs in 43 balls with the help of 7 fours and two sixes. Captain Shaheen Shah Afridi contributed 22 runs. However, apart from these three batsmen, no other batsman could cross the 10-run mark and this was the reason why Pakistan had to face defeat in this match.

While on one hand, Abbas Afridi took two wickets and Haris Rauf took three wickets for Pakistan, on the other hand, Adam Milne took four wickets for the host team.
