Let us tell you that even before this many former players have expressed their views regarding Test cricket.

AB de Villiers said on his official YouTube channel, ‘I am very sad that we did not get to play the third Test match. We can blame this on T20 cricket, ICC and the schedule. I don’t know who would be right to call wrong. All I can say is that something is not going well.

If you want to watch as much Test cricket as possible then there is a great need for change. There is a lot of cricket to be seen in India, Australia and England and I can tell you this. But if you want to talk about the best Test batsmen in the world then change is very important.

Former South African captain expressed his views regarding Cape Town wicket

Regarding the Cape Town wicket, AB de Villiers said, ‘In my opinion the Cape Town wicket was very good. I remember jumping there the first day. It would have been easier if you had played the first session on the first day. If you look at the players who were playing their shots and not moving around, they were performing well.

I remember Ben Stokes had scored this double century. I have also scored a few centuries here. You would like to see bowlers like Philander, Bumrah, Siraj Rabada not bowling on the off stumps.
