Monty Panesar was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times: “Ashwin’s mentality has been to keep adapting to different things and bowling different balls. He has only gotten better with time. Taking a lot of wickets on turning pitches is not easy all the time. Ashwin has been given turners in the home series, but you can see how he adapts all the time.”

‘Ashwin is like an app’

Monty Panesar further added: “Ashwin is like an app, he keeps updating every six months! He has done this his entire career. When it comes to Ashwin’s bowling, I always feel like I am his student. I feel like I am constantly learning something new about his bowling. This is Ashwin’s real wealth. He is a brilliant bowler.”
