Sunrisers Hyderabad, chasing the target, failed to bat well and could only score 171 runs after losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. On behalf of the team, Shahbaz Ahmed played a valuable inning of 40* runs in 37 balls with the help of one four and one six. However, Shahbaz Ahmed failed to lead his team to victory.

Apart from Shahbaz Ahmed, Abhishek Sharma contributed 31 runs while captain Pat Cummins also scored 31 runs. Nitish Reddy played an inning of 13 runs. For Royal Challengers Bangalore, Swapnil Singh took 2 wickets for 40 runs in three overs while Cameron Green took 2 wickets for 12 runs in two overs. Karn Sharma also took two wickets while Yash Dayal and Will Jacques took 1 wicket each. Sunrisers Hyderabad’s performance in this match was quite disappointing.
