IPL 2024: Before the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL), a big news related to Lucknow Super Giants franchise (LSG) is coming out. Let us tell you that the franchise has terminated its contract with the team’s assistant coach Vijay Dahiya before the start of the 17th season.

So Dahiya has given this information through a post from her official Instagram account. It is noteworthy that this journey of Dahiya has come after LSG appointed Justin Langer as the new head coach. On the other hand, Dahiya wrote on the end of his journey with the franchise – Time to say goodbye… LSG… Lucknow Super Giants, it was an amazing experience working with the team in the last two years. So if we tell you about the former Indian cricketer, Vijay Dahiya, who played 2 Test and 19 ODI matches for India between 2000-01, played domestic cricket for the Uttar Pradesh team before taking up the role of assistant coach with Lucknow Super Giants. Have done coaching. Apart from this, he has worked as an assistant coach for Kolkata Knight Riders and talent scout for Delhi Capitals.

It is noteworthy that Dahiya had been with the franchise continuously since 2022, but for IPL 2024, Lucknow has decided not to extend Dahiya’s contract.
