Mohit Sharma Become Most Expensive Bowler of the IPL History: The 40th match of IPL 2024 is being played between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. GT is sixth in the points table with 8 points and DC is eighth with 6 points. It is very important for both the teams to win this match to remain in the race for the playoffs.

In the match, Delhi Capitals, batting first, scored 224 runs on the board at the loss of 4 wickets. Gujarat Titans bowler Mohit Sharma is one of the leading wicket-taking bowlers for the team. But today he has registered a shameful record in his name against Delhi.

Delhi Capitals gave a target of 225 runs to GT

Delhi Capitals got a bad start while batting first. The team had lost 3 big wickets on the score of 44. Jake Fraser McGurk (23), Prithvi Shaw (11) and Shai Hope (5) were returned to the pavilion cheaply. There was again a brilliant partnership of 113 runs for the fourth wicket between Rishabh Pant and Axar Patel. Axar Patel played an inning of 66 runs in 43 balls with the help of 5 fours and 4 sixes.

Captain Rishabh Pant played an unbeaten inning of 88* runs in 43 balls with the help of 5 fours and 8 sixes. Whereas Tristan Stubbs played a cameo inning of 26* runs in 7 balls. Due to which Delhi scored 224 runs losing 4 wickets in 20 overs. Sandeep Warrier was the most successful bowler for Gujarat Titans, taking 3 wickets for 15 runs in 3 overs.
