While talking during the toss against Punjab Kings, Hardik Pandya said, ‘We also wanted to bat first, so it was good to lose the toss. We don’t judge (our performance), many times the game was in our grasp and we didn’t finish the game, IPL tests you, when the game is not over it is not over. We take it game by game, go out there and give 100 percent. Everyone must be committed to the team goal and once we do that, results will be visible.
Mumbai Indians had traded Hardik Pandya to Gujarat Titans before the IPL 2024 auction. The franchise then appointed Hardik Pandya as captain in place of Rohit Sharma. The fans of MI and Rohit Sharma have not been able to accept Hardik as captain till now. Fans are seen booing against him in the stadium.
Talking about Hardik Pandya’s performance so far in IPL 2024, he has been able to score only 141 runs in 7 matches at an average of 23.50 and strike rate of 146.88. While bowling, he has been able to take only 3 wickets so far in 7 matches.
