Furthermore, Dravid also revealed that if Kishan makes himself available, he will play domestic matches for his state Jharkhand in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2024 before joining the Indian team. At the same time, Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) Secretary Debasis Chakraborty has given important information regarding the availability of Ishan Kishan.
As quoted by India Today, the JSCA secretary said that the cricketer has not yet contacted the board regarding his availability in the Ranji games. Along with this, Chakraborty also ensured that if Ishan Kishan is available for selection, he will come straight into playing.
Let us tell you that Jharkhand team is currently playing a Ranji match against Maharashtra, the first day of which is being played in Pune, while Ishan is not a part of the announced setup.
