Former Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli was seen playing against Afghanistan in the second T20 match held at Holkar Stadium in Indore on January 14 after about 14 months. In this match, Kohli came to bat in the very first over after Rohit Sharma was out for a duck for the second consecutive time.

Kohli played a fast innings in the match and played a brilliant inning of 29 runs in 14 balls with the help of 5 fours. So, India won the match by 6 wickets on the basis of excellent batting of Shivam Dubey (63* runs, 32 balls) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (68 runs, 34 balls).

On the other hand, well-known cricket expert Harsha Bhogle gave a big statement regarding Virat Kohli’s innings in this match and said that it was an innings which the team needed. Apart from this, he further said that this cameo is better than scoring 50 runs in 40 balls while chasing 170 runs.

Let us tell you that regarding Kohli’s innings, Harsha Bhogle said through a post from his official But from a T20 point of view, this was the kind of innings any team would want. Out of the six batsmen of the team, one scored runs at a rate higher than the required run rate. But Kohli is a great player and we expect and think this performance was very disappointing.

An innings of 29(16) played by Jaiswal and Gill would be much more accepted. However, it should also be seen in the same way. It is commendable that at this stage of his career, Kohli is challenging himself in the shortest format of the game. 29(16) while chasing 170 is a better innings than 50 in 40 balls.

On the other hand, this comment of Bhogle did not go down well with the cricket fans and they responded to Bhogle and started criticizing him.
