The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had recommended Mohammed Shami’s name for the Arjuna Award after his stellar performance in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Let us tell you, Shami took 24 wickets in only 7 matches in the ODI World Cup 2023 and he was the highest wicket taker in the tournament.
