Karnataka’s young batsman Prakhar Chaturvedi performed a great feat against Mumbai in the final of Cooch Behar Trophy and played a record inning of 404* runs. Thanks to his extraordinary innings, he not only registered his name in the record books but also gave Karnataka its first title.

Prakhar Chaturvedi also broke the 25-year-old record of Yuvraj Singh with his brilliant unbeaten innings. His unprecedented unbeaten inning of 404 runs has demolished Yuvraj Singh’s previous record of 358 runs in the title match.

After the match was over, Prakhar Chaturvedi said during an interview that while he was batting, the people of Mumbai were saying that he might break our score. Prakhar Chaturvedi said in an interview with CricketNext, ‘It feels good that I performed well in such a match and played an important role in my team’s victory.

It was a big match for us and everyone came to watch. It was a great honor for me to score 404 runs. The people of Mumbai were saying that this should not break our score.

Prakhar Chaturvedi took Rahul Dravid’s advice well

Prakhar Chaturvedi further said, ‘I am playing with Samit from U10. I have known him for a long time and we are very good friends. We have formed a very good partnership and have won many matches together. For the first time we are playing together for the state.
