Pakistan’s high performance coach Grant Bradburn resigns from post after embarrassing defeat in Australia

Pakistan team recently suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of Australia in the three-match Test series. The host team clean swept Pakistan in the series. Now meanwhile, the Men in Green have suffered a major setback. The team’s high performance coach Grant Bradburn has resigned from his post. He has given this information through social media.

Let us tell you that Grant Bradburn took over the role of head coach in May. Before this he had played many roles for the team. He expressed pride in his three roles in five years and gratitude for the work he has done with the players and staff. Bradburn also expressed his best wishes for the future of Pakistan cricket.

He (Grant Bradburn) wrote on the social media platform ‘X’, ‘The time has come to close this wonderful chapter with Pakistan cricket. ‘Three roles in five years, I am proud of what has been achieved and grateful to have worked with so many fantastic players, coaches and staff.’

Will take charge as coach of Glamorgan

Let us tell you that Grant coached the Pakistan team during the 2023 World Cup. However, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) made several changes in the coaching staff in November 2023, after which PCB appointed former cricketer Mohammad Hafeez as the coach.

Grant Bradburn represented Northern Districts in the 80s and 90s and played seven Tests and 11 ODIs for New Zealand. He is going to add a new chapter in his coaching career. He is about to take over as coach for Glamorgan. UK will announce this soon.

Pakistan recently lost the Test series 0-3 to Australia and will now play a five-match T20 series in New Zealand from January 12.
