India’s tour of South Africa 2023-24, SA vs IND: India started its South Africa tour in a very spectacular manner. Team India (Team India) won the T20I series under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav, while KL Rahul led the visiting team to a historic win in the ODI series.

But the Indian cricket team had a very disappointing start in the two-match Test series, as Rohit Sharma and his team suffered a humiliating defeat by an innings and 32 runs in the first Test match played in Centurion. After this crushing defeat, everyone is criticizing everything from the strategy of the Indian cricket team to bowling and batting.

Irfan Pathan suggested some changes in India’s playing eleven

Now the second and final match of the Test series between South Africa and India will be played in Cape Town from January 3, for which former Indian all-rounder and cricket commentator Irfan Pathan (Irfan Pathan) has suggested some changes in the playing eleven of Team India.

Irfan Pathan was quoted by Star Sports as saying: “If Ravindra Jadeja is fit, he should be back in India’s playing eleven. R Ashwin did not bowl as well in the first Test as was expected of him in Centurion. India missed Ravindra Jadeja in the first Test, especially his batting at number 7.

“Mukesh Kumar should be included in the playing eleven”

If our captain Rohit Sharma wants to go into the Cape Town Test with the bowling attack that he played in Centurion, then so be it. But if you want to make changes in your playing 11, then Mukesh Kumar should be included in the playing eleven in place of Prasidh Krishna. But if the captain and the Indian team management have full confidence in Prasidh Krishna in the nets, then you should back him for the second Test.”
