Virat Kohli looked in form in both the test matches against South Africa. Virat played a good inning of 76 runs in the second innings of the first test match. He then maintained his form by scoring 46 runs in the first innings of the second test match. Virat was looking in rhythm in the second innings but was out for 12 runs while hitting a four.

At present, the most talked about news about Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma is whether both the players will be a part of the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 or not. No official information has been revealed yet by BCCI regarding this matter. Both the players have not played for India in the T20 format till now after the defeat in the T20 World Cup 2022 semi-finals.
