Virat Kohli reveals first conversation with global superstar Novak Djokovic


Kohli told that he connected with Novak through Instagram.

Virat Kohli has joined the Indian team for the second T20 against Afghanistan. Meanwhile, the former Indian captain talked about the defending Australian Open champion Novak Djokovic. He revealed that he communicates with Djokovic through messages.

Let us tell you that before the Australian Open, Djokovic had revealed his friendship with Virat Kohli and praised him a lot. He never met Kohli in person, but told about the conversation through message. Now Kohli has responded to his praise and expressed his gratitude towards Djokovic.

In the video uploaded by BCCI, Kohli says, I connected with Novak through Instagram. I just saw his profile on Instagram once and then I pressed the message button. And then, I saw his message on my DM. Since then we started sending messages and talking to each other.

He said, the first time I checked my messages, I saw that he himself had messaged me. And I just wanted to see if it was a fake account or something. But then, I double-checked it and it was real, then we talked.

Kohli also said that, I congratulated him for all his wonderful achievements. When I recently scored my 50th ODI century, he put up a story and even messaged me. There is mutual admiration, respect and it’s really cool to connect with global athletes.

Let us tell you that Virat Kohli did not play in the first T20 match against Afghanistan due to personal reasons. Now he will be seen in the second T20. Team India would like to win the second match and win the series.
