The England fast bowler announced his retirement on the third day of the final Test of Ashes 2023 at the Oval in London. He ended his international career on a high note. Broad, in his last Test match, secured England’s victory by taking the last two wickets of the game. He has taken 604 wickets in 167 matches at an average of 27.68 and an economy of 2.97, making him the second highest wicket taker among seamers in international cricket.
